ITO was established in 1864, and started producing oil engine in 1906.
As a engine manufacture, ITO developed, produced, and started business in early period of diesel engine. In 1955, ITO overturned the conventional wisdom in industry then, developing the innovative 4-cycle Low Speed Direct Connection Engine with 2000 horsepower. After then, as a 4-cycle hifh capacity diesel engine manufacture, ITO continued developing high capacity engine with new techonology for industry.
