Company founded
1906:
Production of petroleum engines begins
1924:Production of 16PS diesel engine with airless oil spray begins
1935:
A large number of exports of 120PS and 300PS diesel engines were made to foreign countries.
1944:
The company was changed to a joint-stock company
1954:Business alliance with Sumitomo Corporation
1955:Four-stroke direct connected low-speed diesel engines (2,000ps, 10,000ps) Development/Manufacture (1985)
1959:
Production of rotary blowers begins
1972:Production of automatic generation line for propane gas container begins
1975:Developed low-noise IRS-type blowers
1993:Announced the world’s first large three-stage integrated vacuum pump
1997:Established SIE, a joint venture in Thailand
2001:A new SIE factory was completed
2002:ISO9001 certificated
2003:Started the sales of high-pressure compatible J-type blowers
2005:
Started the sales of high-stiffness IRT-type blowers
2006:Established the Tokyo Branch and the Chiba Service Center
2008:No.2 Machining plant built for machinery upgrade.
2010:Started the sales of compact, high-speed IRH-type blowers
2011:
No.4 Machining plant built for super-large rotor machining.
2012:
Developed ultra-large vacuum pumps IRV-9 and IRV-7
2014:Held events to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the company's founding
